The key to Karazhan. What a surprising world of adventures to get the $%$%! key!!! /sigh....



To enter Karazhan, everyone must have the key to the tower.

To start the quest chain, you must go to Deadwind Pass, between Swamp of Sorrows and Duskwood.

There, in the southern part of the map, you find a tower with a mge in
the door. He'll give you a quest (must be 68 to get it), that is done
in the same town where the tower stands.
After the quest, he'll send you to the next destination, that is,
Shadow Labyrinth (Auchindon instance). Near the last boss, Murmur,
there's the box that contains an elemental that drops the 1st key
fragment. It can be taken without killing Murmur, just walk close to
the left wall, and you'll reach the place

After that, you have to take the keys from Steamvault (Coilfang
Reservoir) and Arcatraz. For the Steamvault's fragment, you don't even
need to kill the first boss. Just jump to the pool of water to the
right of the boss' room and get the fragment from the elemental.
Then, move to Arcatraz (Tempest Keep, Netherstorm). You need the key or
a rogue with more than 350 lockpicking skill to enter. The key quest
starts in Netherstorm too. There, right after the first boss' room,a nd
going up a ramp, you find a room with huge voidwalkers. To the right as
you enter the room, you can get the 3rd fragment. I'm not sure if you
can skip the first boss. We're Ally and kill all on our way to the
key, hehe.


And then, the last part is to ask Medivh for the key of Karazhan. He
will only give it to you if you protect him in Black Morass.


And then, you're attuned, you get tons of epix and hours of fun
