The key to Karazhan. What a surprising world of adventures to get the $%$%! key!!! /sigh....

To enter Karazhan, everyone must have the key to the tower.

To start the quest chain, you must go to Deadwind Pass, between Swamp of Sorrows and Duskwood.

There, in the southern part of the map, you find a tower with a mge in

the door. He'll give you a quest (must be 68 to get it), that is done

in the same town where the tower stands.

After the quest, he'll send you to the next destination, ...

Strategy

Placement

Player placement and attention to detail are THE MOST IMPORTANT

elements to this encounter. If you aren't in the right spot at the

right time then it WILL result in a wipe for your raid. Everyone has to

be on top of their game and LISTENING. This fight isn't really hard as

it is making sure everyone is working together and doing their assigned

job.

* MTs/OTs - There will be 2 of your switching off tanking, you need

to ...

Shade of Aran

Strategy

Placement

There is no placement really...he doesn't really move...he has no real

aggro, and pretty much just stays in the center of his room.

The Encounter

Although this fight is a huge pain in the butt...it is a lot of fun

and really easy if your raid pays attention. There really isn't ANY

room for error on this fight. If one person fails to listen it can mean

a wipe for your raid. First let me list all his moves as he has ...

Opera Event - Romulo and Julianne

Strategy

Placement

* Healers/Ranged - All healers and ranged can stand at the front

mid of the stage and do all their DPS and healing from there. The only

moving around would be if one of you pulled aggro.

* Melee - You just kill the target you are told to, only thing special about placement is stand behind Romulo.

* MT - A lot of people recommend tanking Romulo close to a

wall...in my opinion since the people who get hit by ...

Moroes

Strategy

Placement

* MT - Moroes is best tanked to the right of the platform where he is

pulled from with the MT's back faces towards the corner. The MT will do

a few aggro moves and turn his back to Moroes to avoid getting

garotted.

* Healers - Healers just spread out at max range from their CCed

targets and Moroes so if their add breaks they have time to CC it or if

Moroes gouges the MT they have time to try and kite him till the tank

gets him.

Ok so after getting all done and you feel you are geared (no less than 70lvl rares)! and motivated! got all heroic keys! and Applepie! then you need to realise the hardest downside of raiding is not casual. Average Raid with great group eats around 100g+ depending on wipes. So. Do daily quests and you should be fine.

All members of the raid group need :

Patience.

Understanding.

No Elitist or Noob behavior.

Following Orders to the letter.

Knowledge of the Instance at least from Internet.

Among many things is getting good gear to enter Karazhan. To get the right gear you should be 100% sure you know your class and able to use all roles like : healing, main tanking, off tanking, crowd control, damage, more damage, more and more damage .

The easiest way to do so is to do a looot of instances. After reaching lvl 70 you need to get the Heroic keys, in the way you may get a Dungeon Set 3 if possible on non heroic instances. here is a list of following sets, click on the items to ...
